Five people were killed and 20 others were injured when a bomb blast ripped through a cafe in an Ethiopian town near the border with Eritrea, according to officials.

A bomb blast at a cafe in Adi Haro, an Ethiopian settlement close to the frontier with Eritrea, has killed at least five people and injured 20 others, local officials said.

Opposition Denies Ethiopia’s Claim of Alliance with Eritrea

State radio reported yesterday that the opposition is “covertly and overtly” collaborating with neighboring Eritrea ahead of elections on May 23.
